Trying to conceive can feel overwhelming when every report brings another question: AMH, FSH, thyroid, insulin, PCOS, sperm quality, endometriosis, egg quality or IVF. At Health Hatch, we use personalised, evidence-based fertility nutrition to help women and couples optimise their health before conception and support them through their fertility journey.
Fertility is influenced by many factors age, ovulation, ovarian reserve, sperm health, metabolic health, nutritional status, lifestyle and medical conditions. Fertility nutrition focuses on the factors that can be optimised through nutrition and lifestyle before conception.
At Health Hatch, we work with women and couples who are planning pregnancy, trying to conceive naturally, preparing for IUI or IVF, or navigating concerns such as PCOS, low AMH, endometriosis, thyroid conditions, insulin resistance or male-factor fertility. Our Registered Dieticians create personalised nutrition plans based on your health history, blood reports, lifestyle, food preferences and fertility goals.
Your fertility journey deserves more than a meal plan. We assess your blood reports, dietary patterns, lifestyle, medical history and fertility goals to create a personalised nutrition strategy for both partners where appropriate.
Preconception nutrition is the process of optimising your nutritional, metabolic and lifestyle health before pregnancy. It is not about following a generic "fertility diet." It is about identifying what you may need to optimise before conception from nutritional deficiencies and metabolic health to dietary patterns, physical activity, sleep and lifestyle. Preconception care is recommended as an opportunity to optimise health and address modifiable risk factors before pregnancy.
Our fertility nutrition programme may be suitable if you:
Our fertility nutrition programme is designed for women and couples who:
You're planning pregnancy in the next 3–6 months and want to optimise your nutrition, lifestyle and health before you start trying.
You're worried about low AMH, declining ovarian reserve or egg quality and want to understand what you can realistically optimise through nutrition and lifestyle.
You're dealing with PCOS, insulin resistance, irregular cycles or ovulatory challenges and want to support reproductive health alongside medical care.
You're preparing for fertility treatment and want a personalised nutrition strategy before and during your treatment journey.
You're looking beyond the woman's diet and want to support sperm health, egg health, metabolic health and overall preconception nutrition as a couple.
You've been trying naturally and want to identify nutritional, lifestyle and metabolic factors that may be worth addressing alongside your fertility specialist.
You want an integrated nutrition plan that considers the conditions affecting your reproductive health rather than treating each issue separately.
Fertility nutrition should not focus only on the woman. Male reproductive health is equally relevant to conception because preparing for pregnancy shouldn't begin with the woman alone. Depending on your situation, we may consider both female and male reproductive health, together with lifestyle factors and where you are in your fertility journey.
Your plan is then built around your reports, your food preferences, your culture and your fertility goals. One couple. One plan. Two reproductive systems.
You don't need to abandon the food you grew up eating. Our plans can be built around practical foods such as roti, rice, dal, dosa, idli, paneer, curd, vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts and seeds. For international clients, we also adapt recommendations to foods available in the UK, UAE, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore and other countries. The goal is a sustainable eating pattern, not an extreme fertility diet.
A low AMH result can understandably create anxiety when you're trying to conceive. Nutrition cannot reverse ovarian ageing or guarantee an increase in AMH. However, optimising overall nutrition, metabolic health, lifestyle and relevant nutritional deficiencies can form part of a broader preconception strategy. A low AMH result is important, but it is not the complete picture of your fertility.
Nutrition can be integrated into your fertility treatment journey. If you are preparing for IUI or IVF, our approach focuses on nutritional adequacy, metabolic health, lifestyle and practical food choices while you continue treatment with your fertility specialist. Nutrition does not replace fertility treatment and cannot guarantee treatment success.
Fertility nutrition is more than a meal plan. At Health Hatch, you work with Registered Dieticians who consider your reports, medical history, fertility goals, lifestyle, food preferences and metabolic health together. Our approach is evidence-informed, personalised, practical, Indian-food friendly, suitable for international clients, and supported through regular follow-ups. One couple. One personalised nutrition strategy. Two reproductive systems.
*Among clients who completed our fertility nutrition programme over 2 years (N=50), 81% reported conceiving naturally. Internal client outcomes, self-reported. Individual results vary and depend on multiple factors including underlying medical conditions.
There is no single scientifically proven fertility diet. A fertility-focused eating pattern generally prioritises overall dietary quality, nutritional adequacy and healthy lifestyle habits.
A balanced diet containing adequate protein, vegetables, fruits, whole grains or other minimally processed carbohydrate sources, healthy fats and essential micronutrients can support overall health during preconception.
There is no universal minimum period. Starting several months before trying can provide time to identify nutritional gaps and establish sustainable habits.
Nutrition can support overall health and modifiable nutritional or metabolic factors, but no diet can guarantee pregnancy.
A couple-based approach can be useful because both female and male reproductive health contribute to conception.
